Publisher Ziggurat Interactive has announced World Championship Boxing Manager 2, a sequel to the 1991 original, which promises another “winning one-two punch_ of boxing simulation gameplay and business tycoonery. The new game aims to "capture the essence” of the original game, while building upon it.

Due to release this spring, World Championship Boxing Manager 2 will feature updated 32-bit pixel art visuals, deeper gameplay and RPG-style skill selection, new characters based upon legendary fighters Rocky Marciano and Sugar Ray Robinson, dynamic lighting, and an updated user interface.

The game will also include Twitch integration for streaming, with chat able to activate various in-game effects, as you enlist pugilists, recruit staff to manage your boxing empire, and secure endorsements, before watching the action unfold in the ring. You can take a look at the game in the announcement trailer below.

World Championship Boxing Manager 2 will be hitting the canvas on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in spring 2022.

  • I remember this on the Amiga, I was always confused by the spelling of "nite" until I got older and found out Americans cant spell.....joke....perhaps
  • Hey google where does the word Nite originate from?

late Old English niht (West Saxon neaht, Anglian næht, neht) "the dark part of a day; the night as a unit of time; darkness," also "absence of spiritual illumination, moral darkness, ignorance," from Proto-Germanic.

…literally nothing to do with Americans
