Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries has issued a selection of job listings for anyone looking to join the studio, and help evolve the game's free-to-play multiplayer with “highly innovative and engaging serial narrative content”. Among the listings is one for a ‘monetization designer’ and another for a ‘writing director’.

The former would be instrumental in helping to create “new ongoing experiences” for Halo Infinite, as well as the “next phases of Halo Infinite's free-to-play experience.” As the job title suggests, this will also include developing monetisation strategies for the game.

“This role will focus on in-game initiatives to drive player engagement and long-term player progression, as well as a player-first store and monetization model,” the listing (via GameSpot) states. “This role will work closely with our progression, marketing, business, and analytics teams, among others, to curate and understand our player data to ensure your designs deliver on our studio goals.”

As for the writing director role, this one involves the creation of new narrative content for multiplayer. As such, the successful candidate will "work closely with the Halo franchise team to ensure Seasonal story content both leverages existing Halo lore and adds exciting new chapters to the larger Halo story," according to the job ad.

Season One of Halo Infinite multiplayer is ongoing, and will last until May 2022, with content centred upon Team Noble from Halo Reach. Season Two is set to roll out in May, and will hopefully be bringing with it the addition of Forge mode and campaign co-op, all being well.

Meanwhile, the game's monetisation has undergone a number of changes since launch, with prices of cosmetic items lowered, in response to player feedback. Additionally, we're still waiting on an update regarding campaign co-op and Forge for Halo Infinite, since it was recently delayed.

Halo Infinite is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC. You can check out our review here.
