Activision and developer Treyarch have rolled out a new Year Two update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War today, adding a remastered version of the WMD Multiplayer map from the first Black Ops and the Vargo 52 Assault Rifle for both Multiplayer and Zombies modes.

The WMD map takes Operators to an abandoned weapons facility in the mountains, where you'll find multiple ‘power positions’ across its interior and exterior regions, as well as an action hotspot within the central Production Facility. The map also offers plenty of verticality, with high structures to scale.

As for the new Vargo 52 AR, Treyarch states that it's “one of the most devastating assault rifles in the game”, especially handy for keeping the undead at bay in Zombies, when furnished with the optimum attachments. To unlock the base version of the weapon for MP, you'll need to deal 1000 damage with any assault rifle and complete 15 different matches.

If you want the rifle to use in Zombies mode, you'll have to eliminate 750 enemies with an assault rifle that has been Pack-a-Punched three times. Alternatively, you can use the ‘Ferrofluid’ Weapon Blueprint available with the ‘Tracer Pack: Ferro Fury Reactive Mastercraft’ Bundle, available today in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone in-game Stores, and get some extra help to unlock the Vargo 52.

The Year Two update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now, alongside the ‘Tracer Pack: Ferro Fury Reactive Mastercraft’ Bundle, which includes the ‘Viscosideath’ LMG Blueprint, the ‘Liquid Metal’ SMG Blueprint, ‘Bullet Magnet’ Charm, ‘Cranial Magnetism’ animated Calling Card, ‘Ferro-Charlie’ Sticker, ‘Spiked’ Reticle, and the ‘Fluid Manipulation’ Gesture. You can read more about it here.
