Publisher 110 Industries has released a new trailer for Wanted: Dead, its upcoming third-person action game, and it looks very promising once again. (via IGN)
Developed by former Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive developers at Japanese studio Soliel Ltd, Wanted: Dead is set in a violent, cyberpunk version of Hong Kong, and sees players take the role of Hannah Stone, the leader of an elite police force known as Zombie Squad.
There's sword slashes, lots of bloody dismemberment, and even some third-person shooting thrown into the mix. In fact, it looks a little bit like a better version of the Wii U exclusive game Devil's Third, which actually makes a lot of sense. That game's developer, Valhalla Game Studios, was owned by Wake Up Interactive, who also own Soliel Ltd. Valhalla was then merged into Soliel in December 2021.
You can check out the brand new trailer down below. Wanted: Dead is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2022.
Okay sure, that looks like it could be some dumb fun and a nice budget title. Though knowing the history, I'm not gonna hold my breath for this one. We'll see when it releases.
