Publisher Saber Interactive has dropped a new trailer for Redout 2, showing off more of the game's high-speed WipEout-style racing.

The anti-gravity racer sequel builds upon the fan favourite first game, doubling the number of racing locations from five to ten, with 36 new racetracks across those ten locations. Not only that, but each track can also be played in reverse, doubling the number of track options to 72.

Once you're on a track, there's six unique game modes to get stuck into - Time Attack, Race, Arena Race, Last Man Standing, Speed, and Boss. You'll get a chance to try all six of these modes in the Redout II's Career, which will see you rising through the ranks in the Solo Redout Racing League. You can also race other players in online multiplayer, with up to twelve players per race.

The game looks pretty gorgeous in the gameplay overview trailer below, building upon the shiny, futuristic style of the original Redout game. Redout II is due to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC later in 2022.
