Escape Academy, a “mind-bending escape room experience” will be coming to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC this June, co-publishers iam8bit and Skybound Games have announced. Developed by Coin Crew Games, Escape Academy will be one of the first games to capture a proper escape room experience.
Featuring a variety of puzzles to complete in team-based, exploration-focused, and time-pressure challenges, Escape Academy aims to bring the spirit of real-life escape rooms into your home, as you tackle a variety of confined spaces within the game's ‘secret world’ and master the ‘art of escape’.
As a roguish escape artist recruit in-training, you'll take on deadly challenges created by “zany and charismatic professors”, as you strive to make your name as a legendary ‘Escapist’. Of course, along the way, you'll also uncover an unimaginable threat in Escape Academy, in a story filled with twists and turns.
Escape Academy is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One as a day one Xbox Game Pass title this June, alongside PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the announcement trailer below.
