Ubisoft has announced the return of everyone's favourite trivia board game with the little plastic cheese wedges, as Trivial Pursuit Live! 2 hits consoles today. The sequel features the same TV show format as the original, alongside a load of new questions, a variety of question formats, and more.
Two new levels of difficulty for “all player types”, a line-up of diverse characters to choose from, and a new Twitch streaming mode round out the new stuff for Trivial Pursuit Live! 2, as does a new family questions set. Classic mode offers four player contests, while teams can partner up for 2v2 Versus mode.
The game also has the option to take on other players around the world by heading online, as Twitch Mode streamers and viewers can also test their trivia knowledge against one another. Trivial Pursuit Live! 2 is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia, priced $19.99/£16.24.
@BunnyHunter: I was about to say the same thing. Seems like a genre that is sorely missing from the service. Are there any board games on GP right now? I can't think of one. Would be fun to play over beers with friends but I can't see myself using the online functionality so the price does seem a little much - at least for me.
@KrisXX It crashes at the main menu every time, guaranteed. Ubisoft have been aware of it for years, but consistently lie and pretend they're working on it. Microsoft are also aware of the issue and also do nothing while happily shilling the product for them.
