Marvel's Avengers War Table Rework Arriving This Week, Alongside an Improved New Player Experience

Square Enix has announced that Patch 2.3 will be arriving in Marvel's Avengers on Thursday 24th March 2022.

This patch will bring a big rework to the War Table in Marvel's Avengers, with the goal to streamline missions and improve the user experience. Starting on Thursday, missions will no longer change every 15 minutes, with Drop Zones and Threat Sectors appearing on the War Table at all times. Meanwhile, HIVES will appear once you reach the correct power level for that region. Each region will now have a minimum power level, and a suggested maximum power level, as seen below.

• Eastern Seaboard - Power Level 1-25
• Pacific Northwest - Power Level 25-50
• Utah Badlands - Power Level 50-75
• Snowy Tundra - Power Level 75-100
• Future Wastelands - Power Level 100-125
• Wakanda - Power Level 100-140

On top of all that, Vaults are now always visible on the War Table, with no need to obtain coordinates. Villain Sectors are visible without having to get the mission chain from Faction Mission Givers.

The patch will also be adding the following missions to the War Table.

• This Hostile Earth- Threat Sector – Snowy Tundra
• Desperate Times - Drop Zone – Future Wastelands
• Cavorite Crash Site - Drop Zone – Future Wastelands
• Blood from a Stone- Threat Sector – Future Wastelands
• Wasteland Vault and Elite Wasteland Vault - Vault – Future Wastelands
• Illusion of Truth and Unthinkable (Elite) – Taskmaster Villain Sector – Future Wastelands

Outside of the War Table, the patch is also aiming to make onboarding easier for new players to the game. This will see the return of Nick Fury to the Helicarrier, in order to guide new players. Additionally, changes are being made to some missions in order to make the early mission chains more simple for new players to follow. You can read the patch notes for those changes below.

• Iconic Avengers unlocks when reaching power level 10
• SHIELD Protocols unlocks when reaching power level 20
• Beating the Odds unlocks when reaching power level 20
• Inhuman Sanctuary unlocks when reaching power level 30
• Last Avenger Standing unlocks when reaching power level 130
• Mega Hive unlocks when reaching power level 130
• Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion unlocks when reaching power level 140
• Discordant Sound Raid unlocks at power level 150
• Elite Discordant Sound Raid unlocks at power level 160

Patch 2.3 is coming to Marvel's Avengers on 24th March 2022.
