Polish developer Far From Home has released an extended gameplay trailer for its upcoming first-person survival game Forever Skies, showing gameplay above the clouds and in an airship.

Created by former Dying Light and Dead Island developers, Forever Skies sees players returning to Earth in the wake of an ecological disaster. Beneath the clouds is a thick, toxic dust layer, so you'll be using your airship to explore the tops of the many skyscrapers poking through the cloud layer, built originally to escape the dust below.

Along the way, you'll have to scavenge materials, upgrade and fix your airship, and set out to discover what happened to Earth all those years ago. The new trailer sees the player's airship set alight by a freak lightning storm, which needs to be repaired, and we also get the slightest glimpse beneath the cloud layer.

You can check out the new trailer down below. Forever Skies is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
