Paradox Interactive has announced that medieval grand strategy RPG, Crusader Kings III, is now available for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Featuring “grand intrigue and sweeping story telling”, Crusader Kings III enables you to build a legendary dynasty, using a wealth of strategic options adapted for consoles.

You can bring noble houses together with political marriages, wage brutal wars, unite fractured alliances, or scheme behind your rivals' back to undermine their regime or wipe them out altogether. Noble houses encompass five centuries, with nations like Finland, Iceland, India, Central Africa, and others all featuring.

Each has its own armies, castles, and rebellions to keep in check, while other complex political, religious, and social mechanics take place in the background. Crusader Kings III is out now for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, with the standard edition available via Xbox Game Pass. A Royal Edition bundling the Expansion Pass is also available for $74.99/£62.49. Check out the launch trailer below.

  • Now I just sit here hoping Total War games make the jump to console
  • Considering they already port older total war games to phone, I would expect console certainly will not be too far behind.

On topic, nice to see Paradox putting more grand strategy on Xbox.
