A “civilisation restoration action RPG”, Anuchard is coming to consoles and PC next month, publisher Freedom Games and developer stellarNull have announced. Set in the quaint, peaceful farming village of Orchard, the game will see you venturing into dungeons searching for lost citizens from the crumbling community.
Wielding the powerful ‘Audros Bell’, Anuchard's adventure tasks you with restoring Orchard's lost souls to the village, following the guidance of fallen Bell Spirits as you delve into the depths of caves filled with monsters and puzzles. Inspired by classic RPG titles from the PS1 era like Legend of Mana and Soul Blazer, you'll be able to cast elemental spells, target weaknesses, and take down bosses.
Collecting pieces of ancient tech called Spires to assist in battle, you'll also be able to concoct life-replenishing recipes to upgrade your hero's stats, then return to the village to forge relationships with the returned residents, like chefs, farmers, herbalists, and other specialists who will help you to rebuild.
Anuchard is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 21st April.
