Microsoft Flight Simulator has added the Dornier Do J Wal bundle to its in-game marketplace today, offering the German twin-engine, high-wing monoplane flying boat to take to the skies as the latest aircraft in the ‘Local Legends’ series.
“A breakthrough feat of aviation engineering for its day, the Dornier Do J Wal maintains an enduring legacy of performance and distinctiveness in the world of aircraft,” the description for the new addition reads. “This workhorse, which has proven successful from frigid polar adventures to the depths of the humid Amazon, is a marvel of utility, inviting aviators to explore the skies across the planet.”
The Dornier Do J Wal is available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace now for $14.99, on both Xbox Series X|S and PC, and has been “meticulously recreated” inside and out for the game.
You can take a look in the trailer below, alongside a trailer for the recent Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, and Andorra World Update, which added nine custom points of interest, and 13 new activities (four bush trips, four fresh discovery flights, and five new landing challenges) to Microsoft Flight Simulator last week.
