Aurora, the red-haired heroine of Ubisoft's 2013 RPG adventure, Child of Light, is coming to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night as a free playable character. Boasting her Sword of Matildis and loyal friend, Igniculus, Aurora will be the latest Bloodstained guest star when she debuts tomorrow.

Using her little spark buddy, Igniculus, Aurora will be able to activate the directional Light Ray skill to find her way around, while he'll also act of his own accord to temporarily slow down enemies or heal Aurora in a flash of light. His Light Ray ability also consumes MP and shines in Aurora's path, damaging enemies caught in its rays.

As Aurora progresses, she'll be able to absorb Shards from defeated enemies, enabling you to enhance the Grade of each ability and level up your Rank. Vanquishing bosses will also see Aurora grow stronger, while acquiring additional skills as she ages, and unlocking new parts of Bloodstained's castle.

To play as Aurora, you'll need to start a new game in an open save slot via the Main Menu, when the free Child of Light crossover update launches for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on 31st March for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. A Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel is also currently in the works.
