Indie developer Fatshark has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, its 4-player co-op action game, will be coming this September. Originally on for a 2021 release, the game was subsequently pencilled in for spring 2022, but will now be arriving in the autumn.
Darktide sees Fatshark following up on its Warhammer: Vermintide games with another bout of first-person co-op mayhem, albeit within the much-loved Warhammer 40K universe. Promising plenty of intense FPS action, Darktide takes you to the hive city of Tertium to fight off relentless hordes of enemies.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is set to release for Xbox Series X|S and PC on 13th September 2022, and you can get a glimpse of what's in store, as the squad enjoy a relaxing game of cards before the 4-player carnage commences, in the new release date trailer below.
