When I was a wee lad, before the weight of the world crushed my spirit, LEGO Space was an obsession. Similarly, Star Wars took up the majority of my childhood brain space, so, when LEGO began producing Star Wars models in 1999, capitalising upon a resurgence in all things from a galaxy far, far away due to the release of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, my teenage brain exploded. I'd long put away my old LEGO Space models, but here was a golden opportunity to get back into it all.

Now that I'm pushing forty, Star Wars LEGO takes up valuable shelf real estate in my lounge, and my fiancé's candles and picture frames have been relegated. And with all of that shelf space now filled, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga promises the perfect sandbox in which to play with digital LEGO, because I sure as hell won't be getting more actual LEGO anytime soon. Therefore, can developer TT Games' latest LEGO foray fill the void?
