Fortnite's Ukraine Relief Fund Finishes at a Whopping $144 Million

Epic Games has revealed that it has raised $144 million in humanitarian relief funds for Ukraine, during its two week fundraider.

At the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, Epic Games announced that all proceeds from Fortnite for the first two weeks of the season would be donated to humanitarian causes in support of Ukraine, following Russia's invasion. In just one day, Fortnite managed to bring in $36 million, before hitting $100 million a week later. Now, at the end of the two-week period, the final sum is a hefty $144 million.

The fund is being donated to multiple organisations and charities, including Direct Relief, UNICEF, UN World Food Program, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and World Central Kitchen, in “support of their humanitarian relief efforts for people affected by the war in Ukraine”.

“Our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed,” reads the announcement.

Xbox was also credited by Epic Games in helping raise these funds, with Microsoft donating all of its net proceeds from Fortnite to the fund as well.

  • Only good thing that ever came from this game.
  • Oh. Joy. More game companies supporting dictators.

Don't feed the troll. I did it in another thread, it's not worth it. You can't teach a blind man how to see. If the pictures of Butscha didn't open his eyes, words won't do it either. Sadly.

Even more sad that the mods here don't ban members for spreading misanthropic propaganda over and over again.
