April's Xbox Game Pass update is here, and it's a bit of a doozy, with Life is Strange: True Colors among the new additions in store for the first half of the month, alongside the likes of MLB The Show 22 and Cricket 22, offering two different bat and ball sports from today.

From tomorrow, you can then indulge in a spot of “cybernoir” point and click adventure with Chinatown Detective Agency, alongside a trio of EA Play additions, including Dragon Age II, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, and Star Wars Squadrons. Then, from 12th April, you'll have the adventures of Alex Chen in Life is Strange: True Colors and gothic fairytale action in Lost in Random, which lands two days later.

Strategy game Panzer Corps and tactical RPG Dungeon of Naheulbeuk also hit PC Game Pass, rounding out a pretty exciting first half of the month for Game Pass subscribers. Of course, it's not all rainbows and sunshine, as several games will also be leaving the Xbox Game Pass library soon, including The Long Dark, Rain on Your Parade, F1 2019, and MLB The Show 21. There Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks to peruse, too. Take a look below.

  • Not all that exciting for me aside from getting to try Lost in Random.

I recently played through Life is Strange True Colors and I was very letdown by that game. It is an easy 1000g though.
  • Very happy I didn’t buy the recent Life is strange games.

I could tell just by the trailers that it wasn’t going to be anywhere near as good as the first or second one was.

Now I’ll get to play it for free essentially
  • I guess it’s good for my backlog. Won’t be adding anything to it
