Konami has announced that AC Milan will be officially included in eFootball later this year, following a new partnership deal with the club.

The partnership is set to officially come into effect on 1st July 2022, and will see Konami given the rights to the San Siro stadium; the full playing squad, including 3D face scans; and official Home, Away, Third, and Goalkeeper kits. Additionally, Konami will become AC Milan's first ever official “Training Wear Partner”, with the eFootball logo featured on the front of the men's team training kit.

“Konami are very excited to be working with AC Milan once again,” says Konami European President Naoki Morita. “Becoming a Principal Partner of one of the biggest football clubs in Europe and also putting our brand on their training kits is an incredible opportunity. We are looking forward to working with the Club and creating an innovative partnership together.”

Following the hugely disappointing launch for eFootball, Konami is finally looking to get its free-to-play football game back on track , with the Version 1.0.0 Update for eFootball 2022 now due to launch next week.
