343 Industries has released a new Halo Infinite trailer today, revealing that Season 2: Lone Wolves will be launching next month, with new maps, modes, themed limited-time events, and an all-new Battle Pass that won't expire. Of course, Season 1: Heroes of Reach, will be wrapping up soon.
For Season 2, developer 343 is promising more customisation content available in the free track of the new Battle Pass, with 1000 CR available to earn with the Premium Battle Pass. Furthermore, Weekly Challenges will undergo improvements, and Ultimate Rewards will comprise higher value cosmetics.
These include new visors, armour coatings, and stances, with emblems and backdrops nixed from the selection of Ultimate Rewards. Further general improvements to Halo Infinite Multiplayer are also promised for Season 2 and beyond, as detailed in the latest blog post on HaloWaypoint. Don't expect the delayed campaign co-op to be part of those immediate plans, however.
Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves will be getting underway on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC from 3rd May. Check out the trailer below.
They need to add forge, coop, firefight, custom maps to rotation, a progression/leveling system, and get rid of challenges. Then I’ll be mostly happy. Been playing almost every weekend since launch and I’m so don’t with challenges. I pray system ever.
