Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Will Bring 32 More Classic Arcade Titles to Xbox

Matt Lorrigan

Capcom has announced Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, a sequel to Capcom Arcade Stadium, offering up an additional 32 classic Capcom arcade games.

While details are thin on the ground right now, it seems that Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium will work in a similar manner to the first game, being a free-to-download title with different packs of games then available to purchase.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium will offer the 1984 arcade game SonSon, based on the Chinese novel Journey to the West, as a free title for anyone who downloads the collection. Additionally, Three Wonders will be included as a bonus for players who pre-order Capcom Fighting Collection, which is due out this June.

More details, including which games are included, will be coming in the near future. Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 22nd July 2022. You can also read our nostalgic feature on the first Capcom Arcade Stadium here.

  • Dumbest idea ever not to have this as dlc for the first stadium
  • I guess I'll get Three Wonders when I pre-order Capcom Fighting Collection next month. Not sure I'll play it.
  • I always wanted to pick these up, but to me, the price for these stadium games are a bit too steep. Even when they go on sale, it's usually for $30, which I still think is a lot for what this is.

Yes, I get that it comes with a bunch of games, if you collect it all and yes, I get that you don't have to buy all of the packs, but I remember buying these retro style collections as far back as the PS2, which often came with the same amount or more in games for a lot less.
  • Way too expensive, i'll stick with Mame thanks.
  • No achievements on Mame doe.
