Having grown up in the '90s, LucasArts games were frequently within my purview. During their heyday, the studio ruled the roost when it came to point-and-click adventures, and so, it seems only natural for studios to want to ape that inimitable style, pixel art and all. Chinatown Detective Agency is one such game, taking the LucasArts era as its primary influence.

Combining the globetrotting of the Carmen Sandiego series, to boot, developer General Interactive Co.'s game wears its inspirations proudly on its sleeve, and, as such, it has plenty of neat puzzles and mysteries to unravel. For fans of LucasArts adventures, Chinatown Detective Agency sounds essential, then, but does it manage to stick the landing?
