Steelrising, the latest game from French developer Spiders, has been delayed to September.
The news arrives alongside an exclusive new gameplay video via Game Informer, which shows off five minutes of exclusive gameplay footage, along with commentary from the development team. Like Spiders' previous games, The Technomancer and Greedfall, Steelrising is an action-RPG, but seems to be pulling more from titles like Bloodborne and Dark Souls in its combat and world design.
Steelrising was originally due to launch in June, but looking at the Game Informer gameplay footage down below, it looks like the game's performance is still pretty rough in places, so it definitely appears that the delay is for the best.
Steelrising launches on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 8th September 2022.
