Paradox Interactive has announced that three critically-acclaimed titles in the Shadowrun series are coming to Xbox, in the form of Shadowrun Trilogy: Console Edition.

Consisting of Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director’s Cut, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition, the collection offers up three well-loved turn-based tactics RPGs, all originally developed by US studio Harebrained Schemes.

All three standalone titles have been updated for a console experience, with upscaled visuals, improved performance across the board, and controls that have been optimised for console controllers. You can see the games in action in the announcement trailer down below.

Shadowrun Trilogy: Console Edition is launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on 21st June 2022.

  • Hold up, is this what became/what influenced that very old arena shooter by the same name? Huh weird
  • Nevermind, google is a friend I should've used. Same thing, established way before. Cool, I might get these
  • I remember when these were delisted from all mobile stores years ago, no reason or refunds given, and they never came back. Makes me hesitant for these versions.
  • Games aren’t delisted from your account. Buy them and they are yours. You can always go get them unless it’s PT on the PS.
I have them on steam. Never played through them. Think I’ll get them and give them a go in the gameroom. I loved the SNES game and the 360 game.
  • When I click the link here to see it in the store it has a pre-order button..... but also an "Install To" button that says it's included with GamePass.

Glitch, or unannounced day-1 gamepass title?
  • @Chupp They 100% were delisted from the Google Play store lol, here's a link to a tweet thread from Harebrained about it from 4 years ago (and in those 4 years they never got it put back on the store)
  • @Aki, the trilogy will indeed be day one on Game Pass!
  • @T800 Meant Xbox. Won't go away on Xbox. Google play is one gaming "system" I don't use.
  • Game Pass yes. I already preinstalled them. Good times.
  • GamePass you say? Imma take a look.
