Amazon is set to develop a film based on last year's excellent co-op video game, It Takes Two, according to a report from Variety.
Variety reported earlier this year that It Takes Two would be adapted for film and TV, and now it seems that Amazon Studios has picked up the project, with dj2 Entertainment still on board to produce. Additionally, Seven Bucks Productions has also been brought on, with Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia set to produce. There's also a chance that Dwayne Johnson might star in the film, although this hasn't been confirmed.
Pat Casey and Josh Miller, writers on the two successful Sonic the Hedgehog movies, will be executive producers, and will be adapting the game's story of two soon-to-be divorced parents as they are magically transformed into toys and whisked away on a colourful adventure.

It Takes Two has proven to be a successful new IP, with the game selling over five million copies, which is all the more impressive for a game that can only be played in co-op.
