Warner Bros. Games has announced that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has achieved a bigger launch than any previous LEGO game.
The long-awaited Star Wars adaptation, which tells the story of all nine mainline Star Wars films in the medium of plastic bricks, has sold through over 3.2 million units within its first two weeks on sale, and has “exceeded sales records across every platform, region, and edition”.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been a long time coming, having originally been announced in 2019 for a 2020 launch, but multiple delays pushed the game back an additional two years. It seems it was worth it though, with the game turning out the be a commercial success. Critically, we also thought it was an excellent LEGO Star Wars game - you can read our full review for The Skywalker Saga here.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
