Developer 343 Industries has revealed that it is currently targeting a “late August” release for campaign co-op in Halo Infinite.
The developer laid out Halo Infinite's latest roadmap for 2022 in a new blog post, which includes new multiplayer maps, new game modes, and new narrative events. When it comes to the campaign, however, both Campaign Co-op and Campaign Mission Replay are planned to launch in late August 2022.
The roadmap will be updated over time as the targets become more certain, and it reflects 343's “priority zero” of team health, with the developer aiming to get into a “sustainable development rhythm” and maintain a healthy work/life balance.
“We know we need to deliver more content and more features more quickly. Staying true to priority zero means that sometimes we need to slow down in order to stay healthy and move faster later. But we’re also aggressively looking at ways to accelerate,” says the blog post.
Halo Infinite's campaign co-op was previously due to launch alongside Season 2, which kicks off next month, but was later delayed alongside Forge Mode. You can check out Halo Infinite's full 2022 roadmap down below.
