Techland has confirmed that New Game+ will be rolling out to Dying Light 2 Stay Human later this week, as part of Update 1.3.0. As well as NG+, the patch also promises to fix “ a lot” of co-op issues, while adding a variety of entirely new endgame content.

New Game+ will be available in Dying Light 2 upon beating the base game, enabling players to return to The City as Aiden Caldwell with their character progression carrying over. As such, you'll be able to make different story decisions, and fight tougher enemies scaled to your level, with greater bonuses.

An extra 30 inhibitors will also be hidden in “not so obvious places”, enabling you to boost Aiden's health and stamina even further. Special encounters with ‘golden marks’ also await, rewarding Legendary rarity weapons and valuable items. Platinum medals for parkour challenges can also be attained, if you want to push your traversal skills.

A new quest called ‘Something Big Has Been Here’ will be included with the 1.3.0 update, too, with new mutated infected to take on, while co-op-related bugs and remaining death loop issues will be addressed. On Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, a new FOV slider feature is also set to be added.

New Game+ will be arriving for Dying Light 2 Stay Human when Update 1.3.0 rolls out from 27th April. You can find out more in the latest trailer below. In other news, Dying Light 2 Stay Human achieved more than 5 million sales during its launch month of February, and is apparently still going strong.
