Bethesda has released a new behind the scenes ‘Into the Starfield’ video today, offering further insights into the making of Starfield, the upcoming sci-fi RPG from the makers of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Audio Director Mark Lampert and Composer Inon Zur (Fallout 76) discuss the music and sound design in Starfield, working through their respective artistic processes, and how the game's score will “affect a player's experience”. You can watch the previous ‘Into the Starfield’ episodes here and here for insights into the ambitions behind the game, and how the studio is engendering Starfield's sense of immersion and atmosphere.

Additionally, there's chat about a “search for answers that is at the heart of Starfield’s music”, which sounds like some fairly high-falutin stuff. You can find out more about ‘the sound of adventure’ in the latest video below. Starfield launches for Xbox Series X|S and PC on 11th November 2022, arriving day one via Xbox Game Pass.
