Publisher Assemble Entertainment has released a new trailer for Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition ahead of its launch next month, showing off console gameplay for the first time.
The post-apocalyptic city builder game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, with the base game and first DLC chapter included, and a ton of tweaks and changes to make the game work on consoles. This includes a full UI overhaul and a control scheme specifically geared to console controllers, for a more comfortable gameplay experience. Players will have over 90 different buildings to construct, dozens of side missions to complete, and expeditions to head out on. Oh, and you'll have to be wary of the radiation when growing crops, and keep some iodine pills handy.
“While it’s been a long-time desire for us to bring Endzone to consoles, the UI overhaul required to adapt such a deeply immense strategy game is nothing short of a challenge,” said Stephan Wirth, Co-Founder and Experience Lead, Gentlymad Studios. “We’re so excited to share this lovingly created game with new audiences come May, and we sincerely hope players enjoy the experience we’ve crafted for consoles.”
Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition is launching on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on 19th May 2022. You can check out the gameplay trailer down below.
