Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been confirmed not once, but twice, and now, you can add a third time to the list, as developer Infinity Ward has today unveiled an exciting new logo for the game. I can hardly contain myself.
“The new era of Call of Duty is coming,” the official Call of Duty Twitter account has teased, with a small animation revealing the game's streamlined logo. A sequel to 2019's Modern Warfare reboot, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is set to arrive later this year, alongside a “new Call of Duty Warzone experience”.
Presumably, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be dropping sometime in November, as per Call of Duty tradition, although that tradition could be interrupted in 2023, according to rumours. In present day Call of Duty world, meanwhile, Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone's Season Three: Classified Arms went live this week, with a new Battle Pass, trailered below.
We'll keep our eyes peeled for further Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 developments, including a full reveal, which will no doubt be sometime this summer. August, or something.
