Krafton Inc has announced that the PUBG: Battlegrounds 17.2 Update will arrive on consoles on 19th May, bringing with it a new 1v1 Arena.
Players can take on other PUBG-ers in the newly constructed 1v1 Arena in the game's Training Mode, allowing players to practice those one-on-one situations that can be the different between a chicken dinner and an empty plate. Alternatively, you can use it to determine who the best marksman in your squad is, with a spectator mode available too.
Also arriving in the 17.2 Update is a Spotter Scope overhaul, which will see the item's enemy detection range reduced from 1000m to 600m. Additionally, the scope's white passive marker won't appear automatically in ADS mode. There's also plenty of weapon balance changes coming, with the MK12 DMR recoil reduced, and the Mini14 DMR damage output slightly increased. The Taego-only Mortar will now also be available on all maps except Haven, and will be able to be deployed on any terrain.
The PUBG: Battlegrounds 17.2 Update is launching on Xbox and PlayStation on 19th May 2022, after its arrival on PC a week earlier.
