We Were Here Forever, the latest game in the We Were Here series, is bringing its unique brand of co-op puzzle adventure to Xbox next week, and we've got a new trailer to check out.

The game is set in the creepy Castle Rock, which players have to escape utilising We Were Here Forever's asymmetrical co-op multiplayer in order to solve puzzles and explore previously unseen areas of Castle Rock. In the trailer, we get to see (and hear) the franchise's unsettling Jester character, and take a look at the deep, dark waters that players can dive beneath.

Developer Total Mayhem Games promises that We Were Here Forever will be their “most impressive game to date”, with the studio's largest team ever working to surpass its predecessors (We Were Here, We Were Here Too, and We Were Here Together) in terms of “graphics as well as scale”.

“This makes We Were Here Forever both the largest and the most graphically advanced game in the series to date, with a more lively world packed with small details and over 22 completely new puzzles. Even experienced puzzle solvers can expect over 12 hours of gameplay!”

We Were Here Forever is launching on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on 10th May 2022. You can watch the official release trailer down below.
