All Dying Light Players Can Now Upgrade to the Enhanced Edition For Free

You maybe wouldn't expect a game from 2015 to have three news stories written about it in a couple of days, but here's Dying Light back with another update, and this is a pleasantly surprising one.

Developer Techland has announced that all players who own the base edition of Dying Light across any platform will be automatically upgraded to the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost. This upgrade offers up the following Dying Light content to all players for free.

  • The Following expansion (including a new story, new map, and vehicle)
  • The Bozak Horde
  • Crash Test Skin Pack
  • Ultimate Survivor Bundle
  • and Cuisine & Cargo

In order to access the free content, players just need to launch Dying Light, and choose the DLC Packs option from the main menu. From there, it's a simple case of downloading the new content that you want to play.

In other Dying Light news, Techland announced that the Hellraid DLC would be getting one final free update, and revealed new Dieselpunk DLC for the main game. Hopefully we'll see this level of support continue to roll out for Dying Light 2 in *checks calendar* seven years time as well.

  • What a great move! Regarding service Techland really is the best developer around atm. Like CD Project RED used to be about 8 years ago.
  • I can’t access the DLC
  • Still can’t upgrade and access the DLC. What gives?
