This time around, however, Summer Game Fest will be teaming up with IMAX to bring the show to participating IMAX Live theatres across the UK, US, and Canada.
“With Summer Game Fest we are building a next-generation global event - decentralized physical events for the community in IMAX, big showcases from us and partners, play at home content, and much more,” said Keighley in a statement. “This is the future and it feels good....we are just getting started!”
While Summer Game Fest will be hosting it's own event with announcements from multiple publishers and developers, it also has other shows under its June umbrella, including this year's Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcaseand the Tribeca Games Spotlight. More June event will be coming, according to Keighley, who recommends players “keep checking” the official Summer Game Fest website.

E3 may have been cancelled this year, but E3 season still looks to be in full swing this June, with Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest dated for 9th June 2022.

Last year's Summer Game Fest showcase saw the reveal of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Elden Ring gameplay, Metal Slug Tactics, and Two Point Campus, among others.
