Publisher Prime Matter has announced a May release date for Outward: Definitive Edition, and dropped a new trailer to boot.

The upcoming Definitive Edition release for Outward brings the full experience of the 2019 open world RPG to current-gen consoles, complete with the base game, as well both DLC packs - Three Brothers and The Soroboreans. The new release also comes with new and updated content, with an improved crafting system and quality of life improvements.

For those who never played the original game, Outward sees players adventuring in the magical world of Aurai, either solo or in co-op, as a toxic corruption spreads throughout the land. There are monsters to fight, grand locations to discover, and wilderness to explore. You can see more of the game in the latest trailer down below.

Outward: Definitive Edition is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 17th May 2022.
