Bethesda has announced that both Starfield and Redfall have been delayed until the first half of 2023. The sci-fi RPG from Bethesda Game Studios had been on track for a November 2022 launch, while the latter game, a co-op vampire affair from Dishonored developer Arkane Studios, was tentatively slated for ‘summer 2022’.
Both games will now be coming next year. “The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them,” Bethesda explained in a tweet.
“Deep dive” gameplay for Redfall and Starfield is promised to arrive “soon”, which presumably means that both games could make an appearance during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on 12th June. Fingers crossed for something, anything, about The Elder Scrolls VI, too, please.
