Publisher Auroch Digital has today launched award-winning turn-based strategy war game, Ogre, for Xbox and PlayStation. Developer by Steve Jackson Games, Ogre: Console Edition demands tactical decision-making and careful strategy, as you engage in futuristic warfare using hovercrafts, tanks, and cybernetic Ogre war machines.

Originally released for PC in 2017, the tabletop version of Ogre dates back to more than forty years ago, and features the North American Combine and Paneuropean Federation factions to choose from. Each has its own unit types, covering Light, Superheavy, Missiles Tanks, GEVs, Infantry, Marines, Howitzers, and Mk I to Mk VI Ogres.

Ogre: Console Edition also includes the expanded GEV rules, making it the definitive version of the game. You can purchase Ogre: Console Edition now for $22.49/£18.74 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, with the Switch version to follow next week.
