Nacon and developer KT Racing have announced WRC Generations, the latest entry in the studio's FIA World Rally Championship series, set to launch this October. Apparently, the game is the result of seven years collaborating with legendary rally drivers, for an “authentic and comprehensive” simulation.

As well as introducing hybrid cars with overhauled sound design and new physics, WRC Generations will also feature vehicles from previous WRC games, “more authentically portrayed than ever before”. A total of 37 legendary cars will be included, with “carefully recreated” mechanical characteristics.

Thirteen rallies from the 2022 seasons will be included, alongside nine additional locations and 165 Special Stages. The brand-new snowy Swedish route will appear, while multiple modes encompassing Career and a League mode with daily and weekly challenges. The Teams system will also enable you to join a team or create your own.

Finally, a Livery editor and Co-driver mode, with online and local split-screen support, will also feature. WRC Generations will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on 13th October 2022, with the Nintendo Switch and PC versions to arrive at a later date.
