Bandai Namco has announced that SD Gundam Battle Alliance will be launching on Xbox consoles this August.

Utilising the “Super Deformed” chibi style of the SD Gundam franchise, SD Gundam Battle Alliance sees players taking part fast-paced battles, either as a single player or in co-op. A story that bends space and time sees multiple characters and mechs from across the Gundam universe coming together, with players having to overcome rifts known as “Historical Breaks” to restore the true timeline.

There's also progression system that sees players developing their Mobile Suits with enhancements and reinforcements using blueprints acquired during missions, before suiting up once again for massive (but little) battles utilising melee and ranged attacks. You can check out the brand new trailer down below.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on 25th August 2022.

  • This actually looks pretty fun, I just wsih it wasn't that chibi art style.
  • I'd really love another Dynasty Warriors Gundam game...
