Frontier Developments has announced that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be getting a new Dominion Biosyn Expansion, inspired by the upcoming release of Jurassic World Dominion in cinemas next month.

The Dominion Biosyn Expansion adds in a brand new campaign to the park management game, with players tasked to construct a new Research Compound in multiple stages. Additionally, players will now be able to mine for amber, unearthing rare genomes in order to create newly feathered prehistoric species.

Other new features include invisible fences, a fast transport system, and a brand new Chaos Theory mode. In this mode (which is inspired by the new film) players have to build their own facility and house dinosaurs to ensure their safety, within the snowy hills and pine forests of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in North America.

Of course, a new expansion also means new dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. This time, players can get their hands on the feathered Therizinosaurus and Pyroraptor, as well as the Dimetrodon and Quetzalcoatlus, plus new variations for existing dinosaurs.

Alongside the paid expansion, Jurassic World Evolution 2 is getting a free update, with a new feature for corralling herds of dinosaurs quickly with the need to tranq and transport them.

Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn Expansion launches on 14th June 2022. You can watch the full trailer for the DLC down below.
