The UK retail charts are in, and this week sees a new contender setting its sights on the top of the charts.
On Xbox Series X|S, this week's new release Sniper Elite 5 manages to crack into second place in its debut week. Not bad at all, considering the game is available to play through Xbox Game Pass at launch. It sits behind LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at number one, and ahead of Elden Ring, Dying Light 2, and Forza Horizon 5. The GTA Trilogy also manages to worm its way back into the charts at number six.
Over on Xbox One, things remain mostly static in the charts, with the top five unchanged from last week. However, Star Wars Squadrons has taken off, rising to number eleven, following some Star Wars Celebration discounts, while Crackdown 3 manages to crack back into the charts following a clearance discount down to £1.99 at Argos.
