Spider-Verse Inspired Artwork From Cancelled Marvel MMO Revealed

New artwork and concept screenshots from Daybreak's cancelled Marvel MMO have appeared online. (via VGC)

The images come via the ArtStation account of Ramiro Galan, a UI and UX designer who worked on the project. The Marvel MMO was is development at the studio behind DC Universe Online, and was first announced last year, but holding company EG7 announced last week that the game had been cancelled.

Galan's artwork shows the character creation screens from the Marvel MMO, with an art style that put the emphasis on “rich and vibrant colours” and with “stylistic tones that pay homage to Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse”.

The screenshots show how players would have created their very own Marvel superhero, selecting a gender, body type, powers, outfits, and even choosing which Marvel team they would be joining, with the X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, and S.H.I.E.L.D. all included as options.

You can check out all of the concept screens over at Ramiro Galan's ArtStation account here, and check out a few select screens down below.
