Konami has outlined some of the free and paid content coming to eFootball (formerly known as PES) this year and next year, which will include the long-awaited addition of Master League. You'll have to wait even longer, as it happens, since the fan-favourite mode won't be coming until next year.
“Master League will be available as additional paid content during 2023,” Konami tweeted from its eFootball Twitter account. “We will continue to update the game in response to your feedback. Thank you for your continued support,” it adds.
The number of teams you can use in leagues and club teams will also be expanded and released as additional paid content “by the end of 2022”. Meanwhile, a selection of free content will roll out for eFootball, including a Lobby Match mode for user-created online rooms, where matches can be played between Dream Team squads.
Lobby Match mode is set to arrive “after” summer 2022, while further editing functions are coming in winter 2022, alongside cross-platform support across consoles and PC. eFootball is out now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, and is set to receive further updates following its 1.0 update in April.
