Frontier Developments has released a new trailer for F1 Manager 2022 today, revealing how you'll be able to assume the role of Team Principal at the centre of your very own Formula one team. The video features insights from Ross Brawn, who served as technical director at Benetton, Ferrari, and Honda, before winning the championship with his own Brawn GP team in 2009.
As Team Principal, you'll oversee every facet of your F1 team, from recruiting and retaining the best possible world-class drivers, to building a squad of expert staff, and engineering car components. You'll even be able to determine the team's vital race weekend strategy (right down to pit stops, tyre strategies, and such), which can potentially make or break your season.
You'll ultimately call all of the shots, whether it's making long and short-term decisions for your chosen official 2022 F1 constructor, or working to define the team's management philosophy to meet or exceed the expectations set by the board. Managing a budget, investing in facilities, drivers, and other key members of staff will all be part and parcel of your job as the boss. The buck stops with you.
Featuring all ten F1 constructors, as well as broadcast-quality presentation with commentary from David Croft and Karun Chandhok, and the voices of all 20 drivers across the team radio system, F1 Manager 2022 will be aiming to provide a completely authentic management experience, when it launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in summer 2022.
