Curve Games and developer Denki has announced that Autonauts, the BAFTA-winning "base-building, management, and automation" sim, will be coming to consoles later this month. Released for PC in 2019, Autonauts bagged critical widespread acclaim for its “unique and colourful universe of coding and crafting”.
In Autonauts you'll set about assembling a Bot workforce to automate your settlement, teaching them to perform various tasks, expanding their operating potential with upgrades and options. Basic crafting items and structures can be built from blueprints, while dozens of Workerbots can be recruited to make your planet a fully functional, automated home.
On console, Autonauts will include an "evolved' tutorial, enabling you to hone your coding skills quickly and efficiently, while mechanical helpers will offer step-by-step guidance. Cooking, farming, mining, construction, and other activities will all need to be taken care of by your bots, then you can sit back and watch as your automated ‘ant farm’ goes about its business.
Featuring a combination of coding, crafting, simulation, world-building, production-line, and resource management, Autonauts promises a unique experience when it launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on 16th June.
