Their presentations are always a ton of fun and they usually show off some exciting and flashy games, so I'm excited for this, should be good.

Devolver Digital has announced that its annual Devolver Direct is returning later this week, delivering new video game news, all wrapped up, as usual, in an industry piss take.
Previous shows have taken the mick out of loot boxes, digital currencies, world premiere announcements, and plenty more games industry presentation tropes. This year, Devolver has set its targets on the pre-shows - those 30 minute countdowns before the show starts, where according to their “Devolver Scienticians”, the audiences hopes are at their highest, “before the inevitable disappointment sets in”. Oh, and the show is being hosted by No More Heroes creator SUDA51 in a mech suit. Of course.

It looks like Devolver Direct 2022 is set to be just as silly and enjoyable as previous years, and who knows, we should get some cool reveals and announcements too. Perhaps we'll see more of Return to Monkey Island? There's not long to wait, with the showcase kicking off on 9th June 2022 at 23:00 BST / 15:00 PT.
