Forza Horizon 5 has surpassed 20 million players within the seven months since its launch back in November 2021. The game started strong with 800,000 players enjoying the game via pre-order early access, before the floodgates opened to 4.5 million players at launch.

This impressive milestone made Forza Horizon 5 the largest ever launch for an Xbox Game Studios title, leading to the game recording the “biggest first week in Xbox history” with 10 million players playing within the game's first week. The latest milestone of 20 million players is confirmed via FH5's in-game Hall of Fame leaderboard.

This is found at the main Horizon Festival site in Forza Horizon 5, which currently lists ‘20,012,405’ players on its Hall of Fame leaderboard (via VGC). Of course, Forza Horizon 5 being a day one release for Game Pass won't have hurt its numbers, and the promise of upcoming expansions will no doubt only push that 20m milestone even further.
