Street Fighter 6 Cross-Play and Rollback Netcode Confirmed

Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will release with rollback netcode, ensuring stability, reliability, and reduced lag for its online matches, much like SNK's The King of Fighters XV.

Furthermore, cross-play support is also promised for SF6, which presumably means Xbox Series X|S players will be able to match up with players on both PlayStation and PC, then pull faces at each other from the versus screen.

Street Fighter 6 will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2023, with 22 characters outed in leaked artwork, including confirmed challengers Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, and Guile.

  • Best news ! With this it is a Day 1 buy for me.
  • I still don't understand why this new Street Fighter game is going to be current gen exclusively on Xbox. As if the Xbox One or Xbox One X consoles couldn't playback this game at all. Let's be honest, MK11 for example looks way more realistic and technically advance than this game. My only guess is that it is another Playstation's exclusiveness license crap with this company... again.
