Redfall, the upcoming solo and co-op vampire-slaying FPS from Prey and Dishonored studio Arkane Austin, will be coming to Xbox and PC as a day one Game Pass title, in 2023.

Combining Arkane's experience in building “carefully crafted worlds and immersive sims”, Redfall is a story-driven action affair, set on the eponymous island, overrun by a legion of vampires. Choosing between four diverse characters, each with their own unique abilities, specialised weaponry and customisable gear, you'll set about confronting the vampire overlords who've cut off the island from the rest of the world.

Redfall will be coming to Xbox and PC in 2023, available day one via Xbox Game Pass. Check out the new gameplay reveal trailer below.

  • God I cannot wait for this game
  • Really excited for this, everything Arkane does turns to gold.

But did anyone actually think this was releasing this year though? We got the reveal trailer, and then a year of silence.
  • #2 - "...everything Arkane does turns to gold."

Except Wolfenstein: Youngblood, but in their defense, they weren't the primary developer.
  • @3 and the level design, which was ostensibly a key part of their involvement, was generally very good.

Most of the complaints were around game structure and odd combat decisions (i.e. the ammo types).
