Playground Games has officially confirmed the Hot Wheels expansion for Forza Horizon 5, which leaked earlier this week, will be arriving next month. Featuring the iconic orange track, undulating and looping through the clouds above Mexico, the Hot Wheels expansion will take in around 125 miles of said track.

Among the stretches of plastic orange, will be strips of magnetic track, as well as ice, water flume, and rumble tracks. Four new biomes, including Giant's Canyon, the frozen tundra of Ice Cauldron, the canopies of Forest Falls, and the stunning Horizon Nexus, where the Hot Wheels Horizon Festival is suspended amid a “web” of tracks.

Hot Wheels Heats events, a new five-part Horizon Story, new Accolades, Bonus Boards, PR Stunts, and Season Events will also feature, alongside new Floating Piñata collectibles and the option to play the entire expansion from start to finish in  co-op. More than 80 new track and stunt pieces can also be snapped together in the EventLab, with new props, and more to use in the Blueprint Builder.

Ten new cars, including the 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro will also be included. The Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels expansion will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 19th July, priced $19.99/£16.74, or available with the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition, Premium Add-Ons Bundle, or Expansions Bundle.

  • Not surprised given how lazy the programmers are. I all ready know what the other dlc going to be for this crap game either another fortune island or another crappy Lego dlc. At least we know the programmers have no imagination or drive to come up with better dlc
